Please follow this step-by-step instruction in order to set up your email account on MAC. As an example, we are going to use username@yourdomain.com address and mail.yourdomain.com host name, please replace them with your own information. Follow these steps:

  • System Preferences, Internet Accounts

  • ADD OTHER MAIL ACCOUNT

  • Add a Mail Account

    Full Name: Your Name
    Email Address: username@yourdomain.com (replace with your email)
    Password: Your email password

  • NEXT: Account must be manually configured

    After you enter your information, click CREATE to continue.

  • INCOMING MAIL SERVER INFO

    Account Type: IMAP
    Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replace with your domain name)
    User Name: username@yourdomain.com (replace with your email address)
    Password: Your email password

  • VERIFY CERTIFICATE

    Click CONNECT to verify certificate.

  • OUTGOING MAIL SERVER INFO

    SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replace with your domain name)
    User Name: username@yourdomain.com (replace with your email address)
    Password: Your email password

  • FINISHED

    Click CREATE and your e-mail account should be now added.
